2024/2025 Scholarships are up and ready!

Applications Due: March 31, 2024

With all of the support we received from the community, customers, and workshop attendees, we now have 3 scholarships available. All 3 of them have slightly different questions or requirements so please read them over carefully. Since many of our Hawaii and Hawaiian people are living out of state, we wanted to make these scholarships available to them as well. For any one out of state, you will need to submit the “When Hawaii Calls” essay in addition to the other requirements. Please keep in mind that these scholarships are for any student that is attending, or will be attending, community college, university, or trade school. If you have any questions about qualifications, please reach out to scholarships@kapacurious.com.

Kapa Curious Scholarship Recipients for 2023/2024

A portion of all of our profits from our sales and workshops is applied to our annual Kapa Curious Scholarship. This year we specifically wanted our scholarship to go to 2 young adults that are graduating from high school in 2023. The below recipients are shown in alphabetical order and represent the hard work and perseverance of our young Hawaii wahine. Although the scholarship is open to all of Hawaii, the winners both happen to be graduates of Molokai High School as of May 20, 2023.

Mahalo to everyone that supported Kapa Curious by sharing our post, purchasing our products, and attending our workshops. It is because of all of you that we are now able to kokua these lovely ladies in fulfilling their dreams. The amount of $500 is sent to each of the recipient to use as they see fit.
