Kapa Curious Scholarships 2026/2027

Our Scholarships are for those needing extra kokua (assistance) with University, College, or Trade School. These scholarships would not exist without the amazing support we receive from our community. Returning scholarship recipients are also eligible to re-apply.

Continuing Student Scholarship

Graduating High School Students

Ahaino Scholarship (Molokai Residents Only)

Scholarship Amount: $500 paid directly to the student to be used for whatever they deem necessary (books, flight, etc)

Important Dates:

• Submit Application, essay, and transcripts via email no later then 11:59pm on 05/01/26

Requirements:

• 2.8 GPA

• Hawaii resident

• Graduating from High School in Spring of 2026

• Attending a college or university in Fall of 2026

Kapa Curious is dedicated to teaching what we know of creating kapa, processing hau, and making natural dyes with people of all ages. Our children are the future so a portion of each workshop is donated to the Kapa Curious Scholarship which will support Hawaiʻi students dreams of attending college.
